A Veeam & Server-Hardware administrator - Managing and maintaining both Server Hardware and Veeam environments
- Management and maintenance of the Veeam and Server Infrastructure
- Install, configure, and maintain Veeam software components such as Veeam Backup Servers, Backup Proxies, and repositories.
- Planning, configuring and optimizing Veeam environments, Capacity Planning, Performance Optimization, Reporting
- Perform regular updates, patch management, and security hardening Veeam environments
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the availability and reliability of Veeam relevant Servers and Server infrastructure
- Create and maintain documentation related to backup configurations, procedures and best practices
- Create and manage backup jobs, ensuring that critical data is backed up regularly and in accordance with retention policies.
- Ensuring system security and compliance with company policies
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant job experience in Veeam and Server Administration
- Ability to work independently on problem-solving and collaborate effectively in a team
- Language skills: minimum English: B2
- Skills in: VBR, Backup technologies, Storage Management, Virtualization, Scripting and Automation, Network and Security, Hardware Proficiency, different OS,
Hardware Troubleshooting, BIOS/UEFI Config, Hardware Maintenance Tools
- Certifications could be some like these: VMCE, VCP, DCA, ATP
