Your tasks
- responsible for the design, development and operation of new capabilities for the international data & analytics platform
- responsible for end-to-end connection of data sources, development and optimization of complex ETL pipelines and provision of cloud infrastructure
- evaluate the latest technologies and features, test them in the form of proof of concepts and introduce them as new (sub-)products for the data & analytics platform
- work with the latest tools and methodologies such as DataOps, DevOps and Scrum
- share knowledge and be a mentor for other data engineers
Requirements
- studies (Bachelor and / or Master) in one of the fields of mathematics, computer science, natural science or technology (MINT) or comparable qualification
- many years of professional experience
- solid expertise in the development of ETL pipelines with Python, SQL and Spark and experience in C#, Terraform and Git
- extensive experience working with various Big Data technologies, especially Databricks and the Microsoft Azure Cloud stack (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions Azure SQL Server, Azure DevOps)
- practical experience in handling large amounts of data on different platforms
- at least English level B2
