Citrix/VDI 2nd line support

Your tasks

We are looking for a Citrix/VDI 2nd Line Support Specialist to provide daily operational support for our Citrix environment. In this role, you will handle intermediate troubleshooting, monitor system health, and resolve incidents escalated from Level 1.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve mid‑level Citrix and Windows Server issues; perform root‑cause analysis.
• Respond to alerts, incidents, and outages.
• Maintain and create internal knowledge base articles and resolution scripts.
• Perform basic server maintenance and manage user profiles and data.
• Escalate cases to Level 3 when advanced expertise is required.
• Interpret Windows and Citrix event logs for diagnostics.

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server (OS configuration, RDS, user profiles).
• Strong understanding of Active Directory, permissions, and group policies.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP, firewalls).
• Experience creating file shares and managing access.
• Hands‑on experience with Citrix environment maintenance, updates, backups, and monitoring.
• Ability to prepare simple trend or performance reports.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (Jira Service Desk or ServiceNow).

Certifications

• Citrix 204 – Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 Administration (preferred)
• ITIL Foundation
• 2–3 years of relevant experience
